ORDER
The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to take appropriate action on the request of the third respondent vide LIR No.10/Sayalkudi PS/2022, dated 24.02.2022 under Section 107 of Cr.P.C., proceedings in connection with ex-communication and declaration of prohibitory and untouchability order by the 4th respondent against the petitioner and petitioner's relatives.
2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the 4th respondent has passed the prohibitary order against the petitioner and by the prohibitary order of the 4th respondent with the support of nine other members, the petitioner was not permitted 2 / 5
to conduct worship in the temple during the festival time. Hence, the petitioner gave a complaint before the third respondent. The third respondent police forwarded the same to the first respondent for conducting enquiry.
3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry upon the letter, dated 24.02.2022 in LIR.No-10/Sayalkudi PS/2022 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
