ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 23.05.2025 before the respondent Police that the 3rd respondent, by promising to marry him, has received money from him on various dates to the tune of Rs.29.77 lakhs and cheated him. However, the respondent Police has not acted upon the petitioner's complaint. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to register his complaint dated 23.05.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the 3rd respondent is a married woman having three children. The petitioner had a relationship with the 3rd respondent and had also a money transaction with the 3rd respondent. The complaint of the petitioner was enquired by the respondent as a petition enquiry in 2/4

CSR No.334 of 2025 and the same was closed as money dispute.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner enabling him to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
