This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.9 of 2019, dated 03.05.2019.
2. According to the petitioner, she has given a complaint for the offences under Sections 109, 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code. On 03.05.2019, based on the above said complaint, a case has been registered by the second respondent police in Crime No.9 of 2019. Even though, the case was registered in the month of May, 2019, investigation has not yet been completed.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the second respondent has commenced their investigation and he will complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of three months, before the concerned Jurisdictional Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
