ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, directing the third respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 09.08.2016 filed by him, within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, on 09.08.2016, She made a representation/appeal before the third respondent/Sub Collector, Tuticorin District to cancel the patta granted in favour of one Karuppasamy, Ponraj, Chinnamuthu and Vanamoorty, sons of Po.Andithevar and Subbammal, D/o. Po.Andithevar. Pursuant to the same, the third respondent also directed the Tahsildar, Tuticorin https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to conduct a survey and submit a report. Sofar, no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3.Heard the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, who would submit that a direction may be issued to the third respondent, for disposing the petitioner's appeal, within a time frame.

4.In the above circumstances, the third respondent/Sub Collector, Tuticorin District, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation/appeal, dated 09.08.2016, and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
