Respondents Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to provide police protection to the petitioner and the petitioner's family members for constructing additional room in Patta No.891 and in comprised survey No.66/7 of Thottiyapatti Village in Madurai District, as per guidelines of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Green House Scheme with Solar Energy by considering representations dated 27.08.2021 and 07.09.2021 submitted by the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the second respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and the his family members, based on the representations dated 27.08.2021 & 07.09.2021.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the property situated in S.No.66/7, Thottiyapatti Village, Madurai District and he was given permission under the Green House Scheme with Solar Energy and when he tried to put up construction, the private respondent made threat to the petitioner, based on which he made representations on 27.08.2021 & 07.09.2021 and now it is kept pending.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14894 of 2021 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the representation made by the petitioner, enquiry is under way and it is pending, due to non-appearance of the petitioner and the private respondent herein. He would further submit that the parties may be directed to appear before the enquiry officer and cooperate with him to complete the enquiry. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to issue summons to the petitioner and the private respondent herein. The petitioner and the fourth respondent herein are directed to appear before the enquiry officer and co-operate with him to complete the enquiry. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
