ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to accept the sale deed dated 11.06.2025, executed in favour of the petitioner and to register the same.
2. The contention of the petitioner is that the respondent has orally refused to accept the sale deed on the ground that the property has been overvalued and the stamp duty has not been paid properly. Such objection cannot be raised by the respondents since the respondents are having statutory power under Section 47-A of the Indian Stamp Act.
3. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to accept the sale deed dated 11.06.2025 and register the same, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If necessary, the second respondent may refer the document under Section 47-A of the Indian Stamp Act. 2/4
4. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
