Seeking to quash the final report filed by the police before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Usilampatti, in C.C.No.5 of 2020, the present Criminal Original Petition is filed.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police would contend that C.C.No.5 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Usilampatti, ended in acquittal on 30.05.2023 and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition.

3. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
