This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant Parole Leave for a period of two months to the petitioner's son, namely, Velmurugan, son of Chellapandi (C.P.No.16103) confined at Central Prison, Trichy.

3.Though the petitioner has come up with this petition with a larger relief, at the time of arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if a direction is given to the third respondent to consider the representation dated 10.11.2016 and pass orders. 4.Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.11.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
