Planning Act 1971 is under challenge in this writ petition. 2.There is a statutory remedy available to the petitioner under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act 1971. There are no materials before this Court to bye-pass the statutory remedy available to the petitioner. It is open to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceeding before the competent authority under the Tamil Nadu Town Country Planning Act, 1971. 3.The petitioner is at liberty to take up all contentions including jurisdiction before the competent authority. The Status quo as on today shall be preserved for a period of two weeks from today.
