ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to disburse the petitioner's bill amounts and EMD amounts totalling to Rs.33,86,200/-

2. It is a specific case of the petitioner that the petitioner was awarded two contracts of work order of road work on 11.05.2023 for a sum of Rs.19,85,000/- and Rs.18,25,000/-, out of which, only partial amount has been paid. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation on 06.06.2025 asking the respondents to pay the amount for the work executed by the petitioner pursuant to the aforesaid work orders, dated 11.05.2023 which was completed by the petitioner.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and disposed on merits. 2/4

Recording the submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 06.06.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In case the amount is due, the same shall be paid forthwith within such period.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
