ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate his lands in Survey Nos.47/1047/12 47/11 47/5 47/13 47/5A4 with total extent of 94 cents in Idaiyathi North Village, Thiruvonam Taluk, Pattukkottai Registration District, Thanjavur District and issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner by considering his representation dated 28.05.2025.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Suriya Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional
Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by her mother, Malar under registered sale deeds dated 16.07.2004. Subsequently, the petitioner's mother executed two settlement deeds, dated 19.03.2018, settling the subject properties in favour of the petitioner. Based on the said settlement deeds, the petitioner submitted two applications before the official respondents on 27.05.2025, in Application Nos.2025/N123/21/008204 and 2025/123/21/009027 seeking survey of the properties. The said applications have not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the applications submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the
merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the online applications submitted by the petitioner dated 27.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners, co-pattadhars and other interested parties.
