PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.13 of 2019 on the file of the respondent ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the learned counsel appearing for the intervener and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 498(A) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.13 of 2019, seek anticipatory bail. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. The petitioners 3 to 5 herein did not appear to have played any major role. The first accused is the husband and he is presently abroad. A2 and A3, who are petitioners 1 and 2 herein are the parents-in-law. Therefore, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners 3 to 5 with certain conditions but this criminal original petition stands dismissed as far as petitioners 1 and 2 are concerned. Accordingly, petitioners 3 to 5 are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners 3 to 5 shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners 3 to 5 shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C scrupulously.

5. The petitioners 3 to 5 shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
