This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and accord protection to perform "Adal Padal"on 13.08.2019 night at about 07.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., in connection with temple festival at Arulmigu Sri Nallandi Ayyanar Kovil Thirukovil situated at Vendanpatti, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2019.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the respondent Police has already granted permission to the petitioner to celebrate the festival. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In the above said submission, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
