O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the third respondent to cancel the mutation carried out by him to include the fourth respondent name in the Patta No.1454 dated Nil, based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the third respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

3. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Such representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry, affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the fourth respondents and to all other persons who may be affected by such decision during the course of the inquiry. In the event of any issues pertaining to land disputes, the parties shall approach the competent civil court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
