ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to instruct the second respondent police to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his workmen for fencing his properties in S.Nos.20/1, 20/2 situated at Ottankulam Village, Veeracholan Post, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District as and when required by the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2020. 1/3

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there is civil dispute between the parties and a civil Court decree is also in favour of the petitioner. However, the third and fourth respondent herein disturbing the possession and enjoyment of the property. Hence, the petitioner filed the present petition seeking the aforesaid relief.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that the respondent police will consider the case of the petitioner. 4.In the light of the civil Court decree, this Court directs the respondent police to consider the case of the petitioner and if necessary, grant police protection to the petitioner and for fencing his properties in S.Nos.20/1, 20/2 situated at Ottankulam Village, Veeracholan Post, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 31.10.2020, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above observation, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
