ORDER : The Court made the following order : The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 417, 109, 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.24 of 2021, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the subject matter of the property originally belongs to one Jaffer Ali. He has appointed the first petitioner as Power-Agent. Utilizing the said power deed, the first petitioner has entered a sale agreement with the defacto complainant and received a sum of Rs.20,00,000/- as advance. Thereafter, he has not come forward to sell the property. The allegation against the second petitioner is that she in turn conveyed the said property to the third accused. Hence, the complaint.

3.Considering the request of the petitioner as well as the defacto complainant, this Court by order dated 07.10.2021, referred the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this bench and had appointed one Mr.R.Karunanithi, learned counsel as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4.On the efforts taken by the Mediator, the dispute between the petitioners and the defacto complainant has been settled amicably and they have also arrived at compromise. The memo of compromise has also been placed before this Court. Apart from that, the mediator has filed a similar report.

5.Considering the report of the mediator and memo of compromise and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the defacto complainant, this Criminal Original Petition is closed as no further order is required. It is open to the petitioner to place the memo of compromise along with the order before the respondent police and the respondent police shall take note of the subsequent developments and proceed further in accordance with law.
