ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 04.12.2015 on the basis of Circular No.67 issued by the Inspector General of Registration within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the material documents carefully. 3.According to the petitioner, the petitioner has filed an application before the respondent to cancel the gift deed executed by one Palaniappan S/o Ramasamy on 31.03.2009. After receipt of the above representation, the respondent informed him that the said representation would be considered and the respondent would take necessary steps to dispose of the same. Subsequently, the respondent also directed the petitioner to produce necessary documents to take action on his application by letter dated 15.12.2015. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner has also https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submitted required documents, but, so far, no order has been passed.

4.In the above circumstances, since the petitioner's representation is dated 04.12.2015 and it is pending till date, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent/the District Registrar (Administration), District Registrar Office, Pudukkottai, Pudukkottai District, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.12.2015 on the basis of Circular No.67 issued by the Inspector General of Registration and pass orders, after giving notice to the petitioner and the necessary parties, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
