ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachments made by respondents 4 and 5 in the Government poromboke land classified as a pathway in Survey No.92/3, situated at Dr. Ambedkar Street, Thiruppathur Town Panchayat, Sivagangai District, by implementing the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.5/35/2024 dated 26.06.2025.

2. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Mr. S. Venkatesh, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that, despite the order for removal of encroachment having been passed as early as 26.06.2025, the encroachment has not been removed till date.

5. The learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submitted that though the encroachment had already been removed, respondents 4 and 5 have once again put up permanent structures in the said land. It is therefore for the authorities concerned to remove the encroachments made by respondents 4 and 5 in accordance with law.

6. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
