O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2016 and to pass orders. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The brief facts leading to the filing of this writ petition are as follows:

The petitioner is working as a loadman in Alpha Minerals and Chemicals, located at 433, Sree Ramankulam Road, Pottal, South Kallidaikurichi, Tirunelveli District, for the past four years. The company did not provide any facilities to the workers. 3.1. The petitioner has sent a representation dated 16.06.2016, to the Commissioner of Labour, Chennai seeking permanency in the job. Acting upon the representation, the petitioner has been called for to attend the enquiry with necessary documents and accordingly, the petitioner and other https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

workers attended the office of the respondents with necessary documents, but the respondent did not proceed with the further enquiry. Therefore, this writ petition has been filed. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the result of the enquiry is not known to the petitioner. 5.Under such circumstances, the respondent is directed to continue the enquiry and to communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
