ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members for the life and limb by considering the representation dated 10.11.2020. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there is a civil dispute between the parties and due to which, the private respondents herein threatened the petitioner with dire consequences and attacked him. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondents, on instructions, would submit that based on the representation of the petitioner, the second respondent initiated an enquiry and the same is pending. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submissions of the learned counsel, this Court directs the official respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2020 and take suitable action, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
