O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to perform the program of Adal Padal on 17.08.2019 night at about 6.00 P.M to 11. P.M. Annakarai, Vinayagar Street, Arulmigu Sri Maryamman Thirukovil, situated at Thiruvidaimaruthur Taluk, Thanjavur District and to provide adequate police protection, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 29.07.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Cultural Programme viz., Adal Padal on 17.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

W.P.(MD)No.17569 of 2019 representation on 29.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith, by imposing necessary conditions.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
