Prayer: Civil Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 5 of Limitation Act to condone the delay of 179 days in filing the above review application against the order dated 26.11.2024 passed in W.A.(MD).No.2428 of 2024. For Petitioners : Mr.J.Ashok, Additional Government Pleader

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) In the present petition, the petitioners seek for condonation of 179 days of delay in filing the review application.

2.The reason assigned in the affidavit, seeking for condonation of delay of 179 days in filing the review application, is that after the order copy was received on 28.12.2024, the review applicants had sought for the Government Pleader's opinion for filing a review and thus, the delay. We fail to understand as to how the Government Pleader's office took six months to give an opinion. Furthermore, each and every days delay has not been explained, apart from a vague statement that the papers were pending before the Government Pleader's office.

3. We are not inclined to accept the said reason assigned and hence, the Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed.
