This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and accord protection for conducting Kabadi Tournament scheduled for one day i.e., on 16.08.2019 at 10.00 p.m., to 17.08.2019 at 10.00 a.m., going to be held in Vaduvoorpatti Sports Ground, Singikulam, Moondradaippu, Tirunelveli District.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the respondent Police has already granted permission to the petitioner to conduct the Kabadi Tournament.

3. In the above said submission, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
