The petitioners are the accused in Crime No.483 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police. The said case was registered for the offence under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 324(2), 115(3), 118(1), 351(2) and 351(3) BNS, 2023 r/w Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. They sought for a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Karur, to consider their bail application on the date of surrender. 2/4

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that in this case, the accused have caused injuries to fourteen victims and they are now discharged from the hospital.
