Respondents Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st respondent herein to transfer the case in Crime No.243 of 2021 from the file of the 3rd respondent police to 4th respondent herein for further enquiry and file a report within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner is the father of the deceased namely, Ulagammal. Ulagammal was given her marriage to Rajapandi in the year 2018. The petitioner's daughter committed suicide on 08.06.2021. In this regard, Crime No.243 of 2021 was registered under Section 174(3) of CrPC. The petitioner is not satisfied with the investigation carried out by the third respondent sofar. Hence, he seeks transfer of investigation to the fourth respondent.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.14329 of 2021 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the Revenue Divisional Officer conducted inquest and his report is to the effect that it was not a case of dowry death. Be that as it may, since the petitioner has expressed certain misgivings, it would be in the interest of justice to direct the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent Police/second respondent to monitor the investigation.

3.With this direction, the criminal original petition is disposed.
