ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Court No.1, Uslimpatty to expedite the trial process in C.C.No.6 of 2017 pending on the file of respondent and complete the same within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.10 of 2014, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 294B and 494 of IPC. After completing the enquiry, final report was filed, which was taken on file in C.C.No.6 of 2017. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that even though the offence is of the year 2014 and the case has been taken on file in 2017, no progress has been made so far.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent would submit that summon has been issued to the witnesses for examining them on 17.11.2021.

4.Considering the oldness of the crime, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.14313 of 2021 Court No.1, Uslimpatty, to expedite the trial process in C.C.No.6 of 2017 and complete the same, within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After disposing the same on merits, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry. 5.With the aforesaid direction, this petition is allowed.
