ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No. 153 of 2022 on the file of the 1st respondent police. 2.The contention of the petitioners is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.153 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 427, 379, 506(ii) of IPC, Section 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002 and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) & 3(2)(va) of the SC/ST (POA) Amendment Act 2015, against the petitioners. Seeking quashment of the same on various grounds this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that after completing the investigation final report was filed before the concerned Court and the same was taken cognizance in Spl.S.C.No.120 of 2022 on the file of the PCR Court, Madurai. Now the case ended in acquittal on 09.06.2023. Hence, the matter has become infructuous. 2/4

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
