The petitioner with a grievance that during UDR survey, the patta in respect of the property in S.No.158/1 to an extent of 53.00 ares, Poolathur Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District has been wrongly mutated in the name of the fourth respondent, who has no right over the subject property has submitted an application in the year 2018 and has filed this writ petition that the application filed by this petitioner for correction in UDR has not been effected so far. 2.Today(12.07.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for admission, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that this petitioner has submitted the 2/5
application before the Tahsildar and the competent authority for carrying out the correction in UDR is the District Revenue Officer. Now the application submitted by the petitioner to the Tahsildar has been forwarded to the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul and the same would be decided within a period of six weeks. 3.Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul to dispose of the petitioner's application and pass necessary orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
