ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third and fifth respondent to take appropriate action to reimburse the medical expenses of the petitioner's deceased wife namely Mrs.Lakshmi in Pension No.R0903908 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard Mr.R.Paranjothi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2 4 to 7 and Mr.C.Karthik, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.
3. The petitioner, who is the husband of the Government employee Lakshmi who had taken medical treatment for the 3/7
medical reimbursement under NHIS Scheme. Since the same has not been sanctioned so far, he has filed this writ petition.
4. However, it is seen from the communication dated 31.05.2022 sent to the petitioner that he has to furnish certain essential documents in Form No.4 of the Annexure. Now the concern of the petitioner is that the Government employee Lakshmi is no more and hence, she cannot affix her signature
5. In such case, the petitioner can produce the documents along with a request to the office of the employer to dispense with the signature of the deceased employee and to that effect, endorsement be made by the office of the employee and forwarded to the authority concerned and on receipt of the above documents, the Insurance Company shall process the same and grant the medical reimbursement as per the terms of the scheme within a period of three weeks.

6. With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
