This Criminal Miscellaneous petition has been filed to amend the name and details of the second petitioner as 'Kesavan @ Murugan, S/o.Mayandi & Mayandidevar, aged 44, residing at No.12, 1st Street, Renganathapuram, Aundipatti, Kadamalaikundu, Theni District' instead of 'Kesavan, S/o.Mayandi, Renganathapuram, Aundipatti, Kadamalaikudu, Theni District' in Crl.OP(MD).No.9849 of 2026, dated 27.05.2026.

2. Perusal of affidavit and hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners, typographical error has been committed, while presenting the petition instead of stating 'Kesavan @ Murugan, S/o.Mayandi & Mayandidevar, aged 44, residing at No.12, 1st Street, Renganathapuram, Aundipatti, Kadamalaikundu, Theni District', it has been wrongly stated as 'Kesavan, S/o.Mayandi, Renganathapuram, Aundipatti, Kadamalaikudu, Theni District'.

3.There was no objection on the side of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).

4.Since it is a typographical error, this Court deems fit to allow the petition and accordingly allowed.

5.Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendments in this regard and issue a fresh order copy to the parties. Consequently, the time granted to the petitioners in Crl.OP(MD).No.9849 of 2026, dated 27.05.2026, is extended for a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
