Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay all the retirement benefits and all other monetary and attendant benefits payable to the petitioners husband Rajendran son of Subbiah Konar who is worked as Village Assistant (Thalayari), Nambuthalai Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering petitioner representation dated 10.09.2024.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay all retirement benefits and other monetary and attendant benefits due to the petitioner's husband, Rajendran, son of Subbiah Konar, who worked as a 'Village Assistant' (Thalayari) at Nambuthalai Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.09.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a 2/5

direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2025, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, as well as all other persons, who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the third respondent to consider the same on its own merits.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
