ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to reimburse my balance medical expenditure of Rs.3,41,197/- incurred by the petitioner, according to the 2/6

Medical bill, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.02.2024.

2. Heard Mr.R. Suriya Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and Mr.A.Shajahan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the sixth respondent.

3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The petitioner who has made a claim for medical reimbursement to the tune of Rs.6,88,367/-, has been given with partial medical reimbursement of Rs.3,47,170/- There is no reason stated as to why the rest of the amount has been not allowed. However, in the order, dated 03.05.2022, it is stated that all the permissible claim has been allowed. The petitioner is not satisfied with the order, dated 03.05.2024 and hence, he is at liberty to file an appeal before the District Level 3/6

Empowering Committee.

5. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that an appeal has also been filed before the District Level Empowering Committee.

6. In such case, it is for the District Level Empowering Committee to take a call and consider the petitioner's appeal and pass a detailed order as to his entitlement within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
