ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to survey and measure the land to an extent of 0.4.45 hectares equivalent to 11 cents in S.No. 335/3A2 in Devarkulam Village, Sankarankovi Taluk in Tirunelveli District within a time frame fixed by this court, as per the Survey and Boundaries Act and (Board) Revenue Standing orders. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.According to the petitioner, he claims to be the owner of the property in Sy.No.335/3A measuring to an extent of 11 cents, situated in Devarkulam Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District. He filed an application before the second respondent to measure the property and he also paid the fees for the same on 06.06.2016. Sofar, no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's application will be considered by the respondents within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Considering the fact that the petitioner's application, dated, 28.09.2016 is pending with the respondents, the second and third respondents are directed to conduct survey of petitioner's land in Sy.No.335/3A to an extent of 11 cents, situated in Devarkulam Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the neighbouring land owners, with reference to the revenue records and the petitioner's title deeds, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
