O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondent for his wilful disobedience of the order of this Court, 12.11.2019 made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.16396 of 2019.

2.This Court, by an order dated 12.11.2019, in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.16396 of 2019, directed the respondent to file a final report within a period of two weeks. Since the respondent did not file https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.(MD).No.1132 of 2020 final report within the time prescribed by this Court, the present contempt petition has been filed.

3.Today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the respondent police completed the investigation in Crime No.668 of 2014 and closed as "Action dropped" .

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner so far the petitioner did not receive any RCS notice from the respondent. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the respondent is directed to serve RCS notice to the defacto complainant forthwith and on receipt of the RCS notice the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate. Further, the respondent is directed to file a final report in Crime No.668 of 2014 before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
