ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned Refusal Order dated 08.05.2025, and consequently to direct the respondent to register the sale deed dated 06.05.2025.

2. The respondent refused to register the sale deed on the ground that the plots were subdivided into housing plots without obtaining layout approval, and that the lands were sold in violation Section 22-A of the Registration Act.

3. On perusing the sale deed, it is evident that the petitioner has purchased the land as agricultural land, and not as housing plot. Further, it is noted that there is already an existing road on the southern side, and no new layout has been formed. Therefore, the objection raised by the respondent is erroneous. Accordingly, the impugned refusal slip dated 08.05.2025 is hereby quashed. The respondent is directed to register the sale deed dated 06.05.2025, within a period 2/4

of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
