ORDER

The petitioner is a 19 years old girl and she filed this petition that she is apprehending danger from her father and relatives, since she said to have married one Bhagavath, who belongs to Schedule Caste community.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the parents of the petitioner, knowing that she is having affair with the said Bhagavath, have arranged marriage with another person against her wish and therefore, she left her house and married the said Bhagavath. The petitioner has now filed this petition that they are facing threat and hence, she filed the present petition seeking Police protection. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that the father of the petitioner has lodged a complaint that his daughter is missing from 22.06.2025, based on which, a case in Cr.No.245 of 2025 came to be registered under "Girl Missing". Further, he submits that in the event if the petitioner furnished the details about her marriage, they would close the above said case. 2/5

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is present along with her husband. However, they are apprehending that if they visit the respondent Police, they would face some problem from her father.

5.The Sub Inspector of Police from the second respondent Police Station is also present before this Court. Therefore, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the Sub Inspector of Police. The Sub Inspector of Police shall record the statement of the petitioner and shall close the case in Cr.No.245 of 2025. The respondent police shall advise the complainant in Cr.No.245 of 2025 not to precipitate the issue any further. In the event if the petitioner apprehends danger and seeks for any Police protection, the respondent Police shall provide necessary Police protection. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
