O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioner seeks cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the private respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate drew my attention to the order dated 04.04.2022 made in W.P.(MD)No.6102 of 2022 ( Lourdhusamy V.

The Tahsildar, Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli and one other) in which direction has been given to the second respondent to survey and fix the boundaries to the third respondent herein. Of course in the said order, it has been further directed that notice should be given to the rival claimants, if any. It is now stated by the learned Government Advocate that the enquiry is proposed to be held on 10.08.2022.

The first respondent is directed to hold an enquiry and pass final order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the private respondents herein and other stakeholders if any. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass order one way or the other. The results of survey will obviously abide by the outcome of the order to be passed by the first respondent. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
