ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to complete the proceeding initiated based on his representation dated 04.03.2025.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Balasubramanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, her husband, Karuppaiya, owned 4.16.5 hectares of land in Survey No.65/1A in Melathaniyam Village Group, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Puthukottai District. After his demise, the petitioner and other legal heirs sold 0.57.0 hectares of land in favour of one Rajendran. The patta for the property sold to Rajendran was issued in his name in Patta No.1040. Subsequently, the petitioner and other legal heirs sold 0.51.0 Hectares of land in favour of one Anjalai under a

sale deed dated 25.06.2007. She was issued with patta in respect of the property purchased by her in Patta No.3581. As far as the remaining property in the hands of petitioner and other legal heirs of deceased Karuppaiya, the name of Anjalai has been wrongly included in Patta No. 1101. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 04.03.2025 and the same is pending consideration. Though the first respondent initiated an enquiry in his proceedings in O.Mu.3068820/2025/Aa5, the enquiry has not been completed till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the proceedings pending on the file of the first respondent will be completed within the time stipulated by this court.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.03.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a

copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the above said Anjalai. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
