Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 08.11.2016 and sanction Old-Age Pension or Destitute Women Pension under Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNAOPS) in the light of G.O.(Ms)No.26 (Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme (SW6
(1) Department, dated 17.04.2015.
3. According to the petitioner, she is a Destitute Widow aged about 60 years and she is entitled for Old-Age Pension under the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme. Hence, she has filed an application before the second respondent on 08.11.2016 and the above said application is pending with the second respondent without any disposal. Hence, she has filed this writ petition.

4. In the above circumstances, taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner is a destitute widow, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 08.11.2016, and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
