PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the Assistant Sessions Judge, Aruppukottai, to dispose the case in S.C.No.80 of 2022 on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Aruppukottai within a time framed by this Court.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed for the second accused in S.C.No.80 of 2022, on the file of the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Aruppukottai, seeking expeditious disposal of the criminal case.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that out of 18 witnesses, PW1 and PW2 have been examined and it is posted on 15.06.2026 for examination of other witnesses.

3. Considering the fact that the case is pending for the past four years, there shall be a direction to the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Aruppukottai, to dispose of the criminal case on or before 31.12.2026.

4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
