ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant 21 days ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's husband namely, Pandi @ Thangapandi, S/o.Karuppiah convict prisoner(C.P.No.5749) now confined under Central Prison, Madurai, for the purpose of making marriage arrangements of her daughter by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.06.2025. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration. The Probationary

Officer has recommended the case of the petitioner and the police verification is awaited. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered at the earliest. 4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No cost.
