ORDER

This writ petition is filed with a prayer to consider the request of the petitioner for levying vacant land tax in respect of the property in Survey No.98/1C, 98/1D, 100/2A in Ayravathanaller Village, Madurai, Theppakulam. 2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that there is also a rival claim.

3.I have considered the rival submissions made on either side.

4.Since it is stated that there is rival claim, the representation of the petitioner dated 26.02.2026 shall be taken up for enquiry by the second respondent. Due notice to the

petitioner as well as any other rival claimant shall be issued and after conducting a detailed enquiry, orders in accordance with shall be passed. The aforesaid excise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt other web copy of the order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
