In view of the order dated 31.07.2024 made in W.P.(MD) No.30601 of 2023, this writ petition has to be dismissed. There is yet another reason. Even though the impugned order was passed by the District Registrar on 21.06.2023, this writ petition itself came to be filed only in July 2024. This petition clearly suffers from vice of laches. This writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
