This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 14.08.2019 at 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in the Festival of Arulmighu Sri Annai Saramaariamman Thirukovil situated at Sarammariamman Kovil Theru, Kovilpatti, Tuticorin District.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 14.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 25.07.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

WP.(MD)No.17583 of 2019 for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
