O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed to initiate contempt proceedings under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 against the Contemnor / respondent therein for their willful disobedience to the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.261 of 2024 dated 24.01.2024.

2. Heard, the learned Counsel on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3. In view of the order passed by this Court dated 24.01.2024, the Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Tirunelveli by his proceedings in Mu.Mu.No.6466/Aa3/2024 dated 08.08.2024 has communicated the Principal of Sarah Tucker College, Tirunelveli, that the petitioner's claim for early increment has been accepted and the same would be disbursed on sanction of the said amount by the Directorate of Collegiate Education.
