Crime No.2 of 2020 PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 2nd respondent to file a final report in Crime No.2 of 2020 within a time period stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.2 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 498(A), 406 and 506(i) of IPC on 08.01.2020. It is a matrimonial dispute between the husband and wife. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents would submit that so far 7 witnesses have been examined and within 3 months, investigation will be completed and final report will be filed before the concerned Court. 4.Accepting the request made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the final report, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.
