O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to remove the board called as Essaki Amman Kovil Trust that is said to have been affixed in Kulapudunki Esakki Amman Sudalaimadasamy and Katteramb Perumal Kovil at Kuthankuli Melur, that is said to have been installed by the 4th respondent.

2. In the considered opinion of this Court, such mandamus as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be issued, especially in matters where there are civil disputes between rival groups with regard to administration of a temple.

3. Hence, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law. No costs.
