Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent to issue the sale deed at Madurai Housing Unit HIG/MIG/LIG in Dr.Puratchi Thalaivi Jayalalitha Nagar Sector IV (MNMHS) in No.M41, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2016 within the period that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction, directing the respondent to issue the sale deed to a house, situated at Madurai Housing Unit HIG/MIG/LIG in Dr.Puraichi Thalaivi Jayalalitha Nagar Sector IV(MNMHS) in No.M41, in favour of the petitioner, by considering his representation dated 23.10.2016 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, his father one Subburaman was allotted a MIG IV type house by the respondent Tamil Nadu Housing Board and during his life time, the petitioner's father had paid the entire instalments. Subsequently, in the year 2005, the respondent directed the petitioner to pay the balance of Rs.3,05,103/- and pursuant to the same, the petitioner also paid the entire amount, as requested by the respondent. the above circumstances, he made several representations and finally on 23.10.2016. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard Mr.Nagarajan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Tamil Nadu Housing Board.

4.Since the petitioner contends that he paid the entire instalments, the respondent/Tamil Nadu Housing Board is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.10.2016 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
