ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to dispose of his application dated 08.04.2025 seeking grant of patta in respect of the property situated in Natham Survey No.68A/3, corresponding to New Natham Survey No. 744/22B, measuring 764.28 Sq.ft, in Samushikapuram Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.J.Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner the above mentioned property was purchased by him under a sale deed dated 08.01.2025. The Natham Nilavari Thittam Adangal stands in the name of the legal heirs of Sanjevi Asari, the vendor of the petitioner. The petitioner submitted an application on 08.04.2024 before the first respondent, seeking issuance of patta in respect of the property purchased by him. The same has been forward to the second respondent by the first respondent, in his proceedings in Na.Ka.Aa1/50-10/4/2023-B1. Inspite of the same, the second respondent has not considered the application of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the application of the petitioner is pending on the file of the second respondent and the same will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 08.04.2025 and pass final orders on its
own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
