This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.86 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent police, as against the petitioner.
2.Today, (i.e., 26.11.2019) when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first respondent police has completed investigation in this case and filed a final report before the concerned court and the same was taken cognizance in C.C.No.362 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.5, Tirunelveli.
3.Since the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructous, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
